Today is my sister-in-law’s birthday. Her due date is in two days, so my niece’s arrival is imminent. In any event, she didn’t want to make a big deal out of her own birthday this year. So I baked her a whole bunch of peanut butter cookies instead of a cake. The birthday box was a hit, one she’s considering putting away until the baby arrives so she can binge on cookies then.
